Surfing Etiquette

Here are a few rules of the aquatic road to help make your time in water a good experience

Know your ability. Surf at the right spots for your ability and attitude.
.The surfer up and riding closest to the breaking wave has priority. Don't drop in on or snake.
Paddle around the impact zone, stay out of the way of riders on waves.
Respect the line-up vibe. Don't be a wave hog or an aggro.
When travelling, respect the local surfers.
Don't use your surfing advantages to abuse your fellow surfers.
Be responsible for your equipment and respectful of others' (hang onto your board!).
Always aid another surfer in trouble.
Relax, have fun, and enjoy your time in the water.
Remove trash and debris. Keep the ocean clean and healthy.
